Pool Mastic Pros — California Service Agreement
This agreement is between you ("Customer") and Pool Mastic Pros ("Contractor"), a licensed and insured California contractor, for removal of failed expansion joint mastic and installation of new mastic at the address provided, at the quoted price.
Your three day right to cancel. You may cancel this transaction, without penalty or obligation, within three (3) business days from the date you accept this agreement. To cancel, notify Pool Mastic Pros by phone or email before midnight of the third business day.
Scheduling and cure. Jobs start between 8:00 and 9:00 AM. Most finish in one day; larger jobs may take two. Work is weather dependent and may move to the next clear day at no cost. The pool cannot be used for 48 hours after completion while the mastic cures.
Cancellation after the cancellation period. After the three day right to cancel, cancellations made within 48 hours of the start date incur a $250 fee. Rescheduling is always free.
Access and the work area. Customer will provide clear, safe access to the work area and will secure pets, vehicles, furniture, and valuables before the crew arrives. Customer is responsible for closing and locking gates. Pool Mastic Pros is not responsible for personal property at the site, including but not limited to furniture, landscaping, pets, open or unlocked gates, or items reported lost or damaged that were not directly and solely caused by our work.
Pre-existing conditions. Pool Mastic Pros is not responsible for pre-existing cracks, hollow or spalling concrete, drainage issues, or slab movement outside the joint itself.
Payment. Payment is due upon completion of the job. Making payment does not waive, reduce, or void your 2 year written warranty.
Warranty and right to rectify. Any warranty claim requires that you allow Pool Mastic Pros reasonable access to inspect and rectify the work first. Preventing access to the property to perform warranty work voids the warranty on both product and labor. Damage to the new mastic before it fully cures, or any issue that requires an additional site visit caused by conditions outside our work, may incur an additional fee.

Here is the honest truth: a failing joint does not heal itself. Water keeps getting under the deck, the gap widens, and the repair only gets larger and more expensive the longer it waits. Today's price is the best price this job will ever be.

Why Joints Fail
Your expansion joint is the only thing absorbing the constant movement between your pool and deck. When it fails, water takes over.
The most overlooked part of your pool
The Problem
The mastic joint is the only barrier between water and the soil that supports your deck. Once it fails, damage follows a predictable timeline.
Cracked or separated mastic lets every splash, rain, and irrigation cycle through the joint into the base soil under your deck.
Saturated soil expands and washes out. Slabs heave, settle, and pull away from the coping. The gap widens and trip hazards appear.
Cracked decking, separated coping, and in worst cases bond beam damage. At this stage you are not sealing a joint, you are replacing a deck.
One day mastic replacement, priced per linear foot.
Typical cost once water damage forces deck repair.
One Day Transformation
A failed, water tracking joint on the left. A clean, sealed, protected joint on the right. Same pool, one day apart.
Water got under the deck, the soil washed out, and the slab heaved. Now it is a demolition job.
A clean joint, a protected deck, and a backyard that stays exactly the way it was built to look.
THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS WHO SEALED THE JOINT IN TIME.
How It Works
We do one thing: remove failed mastic and install a joint engineered to flex with your deck. Because it is all we do, every job runs the same proven sequence.
We measure your joint to the linear foot, confirm your fixed price, then cut the old material clean for full removal.
